Lori has always had an eye for interior design and has a unique ability to make spaces inviting and relevant, while managing projects efficiently. After receiving an Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting, working with an interior designer in her late 20’s, and acting as her husband’s agent and business manager, she took time to focus on her 3 children dedicating herself to raising and homeschooling them. With one launched, one off to college, and the third a teenager, her time to pursue her gifting became readily available.
Lori is a self-taught designer. While raising her family she put her skills to practice in her own homes over the years, flipping a house, modernizing rooms in her church, and helping friends and family imagine comfortable, defined spaces for their families. Having owned several homes, Lori has ample experience staging and styling. Early on she remodeled and redesigned over a dozen children’s themed classrooms and meeting spaces in churches which gave her experience working with minimal budgets and group decisions. Designing her husband’s studio and their guest house was a personal achievement and lifelong dream come true. Recently she also remodeled her 5400sf home transforming it into a reclaimed-wood, modern-casual farmhouse which blends beautifully into their 2-1/2 acre hobby farm lifestyle. Managing her teams of contractors on multiple projects, she has honed the remodel process into a streamlined, expedited, and organized process that surprises many tradesmen and homeowners at the minimal timelines executed.
Through the decades, Lori has repurposed outdated or inadequately used spaces into beautiful, inventive re-creations that delight the generations as well as the senses. She hopes to inspire people like you to reimagine tired or poorly functioning spaces.
